The MUD AI Project
Project Overview
The goal was to create a text-based adventure game where the players are able to interact with a fully AI-powered world.
History
Project Barkeeper
At first there was Bob.
Bartender able to do nothing but talking with the player.
The guy had good intentions but wasn't enough.
By the way, the Proof of Concept was completed.
Project Mudai
Bob evolved into John, still a Bartender but way more complex, chatting with John was a completely different experience.
John was able to "use" the player inventory.
We were so excited, we could finally build a city around John.
Project Brexinton
We added more NPCs with different roles and voices.
The whole loot-finding and fighting experience was built around the Forest.
Then we added a Game Master and a Quest Master.
